Yes it is an older book and therefore has language which is "old-fashioned" and dated. I'd heard amazing things about this book and expected to be enthralled, but reading it was a bit of a chore. Along with "How Top Stop Worrying and Start Living" by Carnegie, it is one of the best books for coping with and overcoming anxiety and panic.
