This, I will feel with my heart. It is raw,gritty, and at times brutal,gory and gruesome; but the moments that Kisa and Raze are together Whose souls would find each other no matter what. Cole has a way of writing these complex and vulnerable heroes who have a rough exterior, pain in their hearts and yet turn out to be the most genuine and gentle souls. This story captivated me, shocked me, made me bite my nails, scream and cry. No memory and one focus — revenge.

I didn't see a good part of the ending coming, so in terms of suspense and grit, it certainly fit the bill. I just don't want it repeated ad nauseam, feel me? Because my picky Russian ass has yet to read a book with the MCs being Russian and not having it be butchered to hell and back.
Alik is an extremely dangerous and abusive person, but Kisa blindly ignores the signs that he could easily eventually kill her. He's simplyone of the most feared, undefeated killers in the underground fighting ring.

He can kill the man that sent him to hell and return the favor, sending HIM into the pits of the real hell this time! The razze thing that keeps him going are the words carved into his cell wall. I don't rze to ruin it just in case anyone hasn't read it yet. First we have Kisa. Aside from that, this book was fan-freaking-tastic!
I was stressed out whilst reading this book but in a good way.

This was one story I bought on impulse, the description intrigued me, the cover sold me, so suffice to say I had no clue what I was getting into. My Bestie pointed out that it was too short. My heart was racing, the build-up perfectly timed, the characters believable.
